Kendall Lee
Fourth Grade Teacher

Kendall Lee is honored to serve as Fourth Grade teacher at St. Philip’s Academy, where she
brings both experience and a deep sense of calling to her work with young students. She
earned her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and her graduate degree in elementary education through Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Services.

Mrs. Lee began her teaching career in private schools in the Boston and Washington, D.C.
areas before relocating to Charleston. In 2006, she joined the upper elementary teaching team at an all girls independent school in Charleston where she taught for fifteen years. With more than two decades in the classroom, she has cultivated a love for learning in her students while emphasizing both academic excellence and character formation.

Grounded in the principles of classical Christian education, Mrs. Lee is passionate about
nurturing wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of truth in her students. She seeks to guide them not only in their studies but also in their growth as thoughtful and faithful individuals.

Mrs. Lee lives on Johns Island with her husband, Brents, their daughter and son, and their
basset hound. Their family is actively involved at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, where they
serve and participate in the life of the congregation. In her free time, Mrs. Lee enjoys cooking, tending her garden, spending time on the water, and making memories with her family and friends.
