Dominic Taranto
PE Instructor

Dominic Taranto recently moved to Charleston after graduating from Hillsdale College with a BA in Theology and a minor in Classics. He has taught youth catechism classes for several years, and this is his first year teaching PE. He also works at Holy Cross Anglican Church on Sullivan's Island, where he serves as a Ministry Resident. He is currently discerning a call to ordained ministry in the Anglican tradition and is looking to begin seminary classes shortly. Mr. Taranto is very excited to begin working at St. Philip's Academy and is eager to see how it will bless the community going forward. 

 

Mr. Taranto has two younger sisters; the older is currently a junior at Hillsdale College, and the younger is still at home with the rest of his family in Warrenton, NC. He loves reading, playing a variety of instruments, and watching football in his free time.
