Rene Charles 
Security Officer

Security Officer Rene Charles has 28 years of law enforcement experience working as a Crime Scene Investigator with the City of Charleston Police Department. Mr. Charles is the youngest of 10 and is originally from Haiti. At the age of 9, he moved from Haiti to Montreal, Canada. He and his family moved to Charleston in 1997 where he joined the police department. Mr. Charles graduated from the Forensic Academy in Knoxville, TN in 2001.

Mr. Charles is married with 3 children (ages 38, 27, and 26) and enjoys reading, walking, exercising, and cooking in his free time.
